This idea involved designing a single high quality product, distributed via an innovative scheme that radically reduces mediation and sales costs, while allowing the consumer to buy a high quality traditionally made shoe at a competitive price.
In 1954 the company was a small family owned workshop in which the first creations were crafted. These were the result of the professional care and attention that only true craftsmen can give, something that is still a sought after symbol of quality.
Even though over time the original workshop grew into a large shoemaking business, the Cappelletti family has never forgotten its roots. Today, as in the past, experienced craftsmanship and competence are always the company’s highest priority, despite the common belief that industrial production is based purely on quantity rather than quality.
The company has a total of 60 employees, and has conquered international markets, collaborating with many important fashion houses. The word “family” has forever been present whenever speaking about the Cappelletti company, and is today attached to the third generation. In fact, the product is the result of work shared by family team management, chosen for its ability to offer clients creations distinguished by quality and price, while remaining current.
Born in 1962, Vittorio Mandolesi is a creative designer, assistant and technical advisor for companies and brands that produce men and women’s shoes. In 1987, he trained under Roberto Botticelli, and also oversaw collections for Marithé Francois Girbaud. Afterward, he
entered the German group Marc/Euroshoes.
In 1993, he began to collaborate with businesses of the level of Cappelletti Shoe Company, Kenneth Cole N.Y., Stilman Shoe Company (for whom he designed the N.O.D., Gaudi, Antony Morato collections), Replay and Bata. This important collaboration lasted for more than a
At the same time he was a consultant for important international groups such as: Imac, IGI & Co., Deichmann, Nilson Group, Stonefly, and Aldo, while also designing for companies involved in US and Asian markets.
Over the course of time his creativity, technical competence, and market knowledge have progressed with equal steps.
